Divorce can be a traumatic and unexpected experience, as many things relied upon and planned for the future change. People experiencing divorce are left grieving not only the loss of their marriage but also what they were expecting for the future.

Dr. Julie represents the SouthEastern Region(Durham/Kawartha, Huronia Highlands and Kingston) on the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW's) Board of Directors. The board sets the Association's policies and strategic directions, ensures that the organization stays on course to fulfill its mission and advises the organization on issues affecting the social work profession and the public at the provincial level. Regional Directors represent the perspective, interests and needs of members in their region at the provincial level.
